As part of its unwavering commitment to community empowerment, PT. Teknik Alum Service (PT TAS) Site Morowali has once again demonstrated its dedication to supporting local communities during the holy month of Ramadan. The company launched a wide-scale food distribution program aimed at providing essential supplies to foster villages and local healthcare centers, including Puskesmas (public health clinics).

This meaningful initiative is part of PT TAS’s annual social responsibility program and reflects the company’s values of empathy, solidarity, and sustainable development. With a target of distributing a total of 2,820 staple food packagesthroughout the month, the program has been meticulously organized into four stages to ensure an efficient and equitable distribution process.

Distribution Timeline & Contents:

During the first two stages, each food package contained:

  • 5 kg of rice
  • 1 liter of cooking oil
  • Canned milk
  • Tea and coffee
  • 1 kg of sugar

These staple items were carefully selected to support families in meeting their daily nutritional needs during the fasting period, as well as to bring comfort and convenience to their meals.

Support for Local Healthcare Workers

In addition to village distributions, PT TAS also donated 180 bottles (1L each) of assorted soft drinks to local Puskesmas as a gesture of appreciation for healthcare workers and essential staff. These contributions not only supported their daily needs during Ramadan but also strengthened the relationship between PT TAS and the local health sector.

A Spirit of Togetherness

The food distribution program symbolizes PT TAS’s ongoing efforts to give back to the communities in which it operates. By providing these packages during a spiritually significant time, PT TAS aims to foster a sense of unity, gratitude, and compassion among residents and local institutions.

“At PT TAS, we believe that real growth is achieved not only through business, but through genuine contributions to society,” said a company spokesperson. “We are proud to support our neighbors during Ramadan and look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.”

This initiative echoes PT TAS’s mission of creating a positive social impact and fostering long-term resilience among the communities that form the heart of its operations.
