DIVERSITY & EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

At Neo Energy, we believe diversity strengthens our workforce and enriches our culture. We foster an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates differences—across gender, race, ethnicity, age, personality, education, and background.

We ensure equal opportunities for all employees and are committed to fair treatment in recruitment, development, and compensation practices.

EMPLOYEE DIVERSITY

All Indonesian permanent employees are protected under:

  • Labour Law No. 13 of 2003
  • Labour Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation

We uphold a 1:1 equal pay ratio for men and women, and all employees receive remuneration aligned with the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) as per Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 18/2022.

LOCAL COMMUNITIES

We are committed to giving back and building meaningful relationships with the communities in which we operate. We recognize that for long-term sustainability, we need to achieve a balance between being profit-driven and being a socially responsible corporate citizen. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and focus on improving the livelihoods of local villagers and engaging local authorities.

Our CSR programs comply with:

  • MEMR Regulation No. 11/2018 on Procedures for Granting Licensing and Reporting Areas on Mining Business Activities
  • Law No. 40/2007 on CSR
  • Government Regulation No. 47/2012

RIGHTS OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE

Neo Energy respects the rights of indigenous communities. We recorded no violations involving indigenous rights from FY2020 through FY2023.

As part of our commitment, a CSR contribution of Rp5,000 per metric ton sold was allocated to a central fund managed by the district. This fund supports initiatives to develop and improve the quality of life for indigenous populations.
